A&D Tree Service LLC wants every neighbor in Cayce, Columbia, and the Midlands to be able to use this website, learn about our tree services, and reach our team, regardless of ability or the device they use.
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium for making web content more usable for people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review the site as pages and features are added or changed.
Some content on this website comes from outside services, such as the embedded Google map and the customer reviews we display from Google. We do not control how those services are built, and parts of them may not fully meet the same standard. If any part of the site is difficult for you to use, please let us know and we will provide the information another way.
What We Have Done
We built this website with accessibility in mind from the start. That work includes:
- Text and background colors chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast levels
- Descriptive alternative text on the photographs that carry meaning
- Every menu, button, and form field reachable and usable with a keyboard alone
- A visible focus outline so keyboard users can always see where they are on the page
- Headings and page landmarks that let screen reader users move through each page
- Form fields with labels, and error messages that explain what needs to be corrected
- Animation that is reduced or turned off when your device asks for reduced motion
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktop screens, and that hold up when text is enlarged
