Working Around Newberry's Neighborhoods and Properties
Newberry's charm comes from its mix of old and new. The historic district around Main Street and the Newberry Opera House is full of mature hardwoods planted decades ago, many now reaching the age where structural pruning and deadwooding matter most. We work carefully around tight lots, sidewalks, and the ornamental trees that give those blocks their character.
Out past downtown, properties along Wilson Road, Caldwell Street, and the farmland bordering Newberry College's campus tend to be larger, with pines, oaks, and pecan trees scattered across open acreage. These lots often need canopy lifting over long gravel driveways or storm cleanup after wind damage from fronts moving in off I-26.
Rural properties closer to the Bush River and toward Pomaria and Little Mountain present their own access challenges, from soft ground after rain to long distances between the road and the house. Our crew brings the right equipment for each setting, whether that means a bucket truck on a tight in-town lot or heavier machinery for a wooded rural parcel.
